When you use SwapStudio, we collect the following information:
- Account data: email address, full name, date of birth, and account creation timestamp.
- Age verification: your confirmation that you are 18+ and acceptance of our Terms, stored with a timestamp as legal record.
- Usage data: jobs submitted, credits used, and transaction history.
- Uploaded files: source and target images/videos submitted for processing.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Process your face swap jobs and deliver results.
- Manage your account, credits, and transactions.
- Comply with legal obligations, including age verification requirements.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
3. File Storage and Retention
Uploaded source and target files are stored temporarily in secure cloud storage solely for the purpose of processing your job. Processed output files are available for download for a limited period after completion, after which they are permanently deleted. We do not use your uploaded content for training AI models.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following trusted service providers strictly necessary to operate the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Cloudflare R2 — file storage.
- Modal.com — GPU processing.
- Payment processor — billing (we do not store card data).
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SwapStudio or others.
5. Age Verification Records
As required by applicable law and our Terms of Service, we retain records of your age confirmation (date of birth, checkbox consent, IP address, and timestamp) for the duration of your account and for a period thereafter as required by law. These records are stored securely and are not shared except as required by law.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use only essential cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
